Converting a Fraction into a Percentage

(a) Simplify the fraction: 2/5 is already simplified
(b) 100 ÷ 5 = 20 (5 is the denominator of the fraction)
(c) 2/5 × 20/20 = 40/100 = 40%
(a) Simplify the fraction 4/20 = 1/5
(b) 100 ÷ 5 = 20 (5 is the denominator of the simplified fraction)
(c) 1/5 × 20/20 = 20/100 = 20%
(a) Simplify the fraction 25/50 = 1/2
(b) 100 ÷ 2 = 50 (2 is the denominator of the simplified fraction)
(c) 1/2 × 50/50 = 50/100 = 50%
(a) Simplify the fraction 200/8000 = 1/40
(b) 100 ÷ 40 = 2.5 (40 is the denominator of the simplified fraction)
(c) 1/40 × 2.5/2.5 = 2.5/100 = 2.5%
