

Long Multiplication with decimals
Traditional method can be applied to any number of digits and to numbers that have decimals
- Examples
25.1 × 46 = 1154.6
251 × 4.6 = 1154.6
25.1 × 4.6 = 115.46
2.51 × 46 = 115.46
251 × 0.46 = 115.46
2.51 × 4.6 = 11.546
25.1 × 0.46 = 11.546
Note: in the example 2.51 × 4.6 there are three digits after the decimal point in the answer 11.546 as there are a total of three digits after the decimal point in the example
